Kampai! First week of our gathering is on the go. Eight choreographers will guide workshops during these days: Yumiko Yoshioka, Taketeru Kudo, Eugenia Vargas, Atsushi Takenouchi, Natsuko Kono, Jonathan Martineau, Uiko Watanabe and Slava Inozemecev. Next week we are looking forward to create some insane performances together here in @schlossbroellin .
The photographer @raul_bartolome who shot this beautiful photograph is joining our team as a documentarist. Thanks everybody involved in this BIG!

"There are the words, and we explain everything with words. That is usually enough, but we also have gestures. And once we lose words and start moving, all of a sudden the movements seem so important. This now becomes dance. I start moving my hands, start exploring, and now it is like I'm singing. When movements lose their meaning and go astray, we try to use our words cover for the loss. But that is when I feel sorry for gestures. We need to take good care of them. I mean, we are moving a lot. We should cherish the movement." Akaji Maro
